3 flights, 3 shows, in 3 days. I’m ready for a little break. Tomorrow is just a short drive to an afternoon gig at the vineyard. After that we’ve got two ACTUAL days off. I can’t wait.

We’re staying in a little house that is up on a hil that overlooks some smaller hills that lead up to the beach. Off in the distance you can see some pretty major rocks and cliffs. It’s quite nice. The downside is that we’re only here for a total of 17 hours. An upside is that our show had been sold out for quite awhile so we had as good a turnout as possible. They served us a really huge meal that was excellent to the point that Kevin and I ate ourselves nearly to death. Maybe it’s just cause we haven’t had access to portions like this in a long time that we over indulged.

It’s back to Victoria tomorrow for a show at a place no one can seem to remember.

This is another town that has a slightly artificial feel, not unlike Canberra. We barely had anytime here at all other than to eat, play a show, sleep, then drive back to the airport to go to Tasmania. We did have a pretty enthusiastic crowd at the show here and the food was pretty good too.

I guess the guys played here before, but it was my first time. It’s down by the beach. The show was alright, though the crowd was a bit light. We’re flying to Adelaide in the morning for the start of a pretty jam packed few days.

Good show here, though once again it was really hot onstage. For me, the sound was better than anywhere else on the tour. This is thanks to the sound guy here Bruce, who happens to look just like Owen Wilson (we mentioned that last time we were here - apparently he gets that a lot).

The drive though the Kangaroo Valley was nice, though I don’t know why they call it that (still no kangaroo sightings). Back to Sydney tonight, then off to Melbourne in the morning for a couple of days off…sort of. One of our “days off” includes flying from Sydney to Melbourne, and the other “day off” has us doing ABC radio stuff for a couple of hours.
